| Back to "Tales" Contents Back to Home WHAT MAKES THE RAIN TURN INTO MUD ? As water can be clean and clear or muddy, rain too can turn into mud. Rain comes from the Sky, yes, but don't you know the story ? - this tale that says that two Angels asked the Lion to eat the Three Beauties, and so the Lion did, and then all the land was delivered because the Three Beauties were sent from hell ... Rain comes from the Sky but it reaches the Earth. What ? And yet that is so simple to understand ! Water and soil make mud, don't they ? Rain comes from the Sky. In the Sky, it met a lot of things and beings - of course, it met a lot of birds, from the Little Bird to the Bird of Ill Omen - you know, all these falcons, sparrowhawks and so on, these Hawks that hunt their preys in the semi-darkness ... Of course, birds of a feather flock together. So the grey falcon and the crow are singing in chorus as two brothers, while their third brother is threatening all the little birds of the Sky. But what about their sister ? Haven't them any sister ? Yes, and this little sister is playing her cards right ! The young women lost a letter of her name ; is she still the same ? Or are they two now ? Her sister has also lost a letter, when another girl was just born in the old ancestral Land ... The shy sister said that the stone too has lost a letter, it became a common grey metal ... How could she know that ? Rain told her ... Rain comes from the Sky. But how many things and beings can change it before it reaches the Earth ! There are so many parasites in the Sky an on Earth, you know ! They even can spoil birds. But some rain succeed to escape every kind of threat. Rain comes from the Sky, so rain knows so many things inside each drop ! All drops are sisters of the same family when they leave the clouds. Then it can happen so many good or bad things before they touch the ground ... How many will fall in muddy water ? How many will be able to reach the sea ? Each birth is a drop of rain. A drop that comes from the Sky. A drop that comes from a cloud nine or from a thundercloud. A drop that will meet Angels or Demons, Gods or demigods, little birds or birds of prey, grass or mud. Each birth is a drop of rain. Pray that your rain drop don't turn into mud ... 05/06/06 Isabelle Coquinot Back to "tales" Contents Back to Home |
