"Beware of the murky sky !" the wind muttered inside my ear.
I raised my eyes and gazed at the clouds, not the ghost of a doubt : a black
rain was going to fall.

I was out for a walk with my dog, already too far enough to go home before
the deluge of rain. So I considered that I'd better search a haven
somewhere else. I remembered an excavation in the rocky talus, haunted by
the rabbits.
A strong wind appeared suddenly from nowhere, and I quickened my pace
to the coveted shelter. I just sat down there and the strong wind was already
turning into a real storm, while the black rain began to fall all around us.

I was having a hypnotic fascination for the scene that was happening just in
front of me. A long way away, the trees were stooping reverently, dancing in
harmony with the murky clouds ballet. It was raining cats and dogs all
around, and the darkness had overrun the whole landscape. A cryptic
atmosphere prevailed.

Then I looked at my dog, he was lying at my feet. I noticed that he was
simply sleeping. Lucky dog ! He was slumbering peacefully, as if nothing
wrong was happening all around us.

And the light dawned on me. Wasn't he simply right ?
Murk was inside of me, but out of him. And I began to open my heart to the
cryptic atmosphere.
The murky clouds were decked out in all their finery to sketch an old master.
The stormy wind was conducting the sky orchestra which was making all the
trees and the flowers dance gracefully. The rain drops were making the light
iridescent, firing the land like a myriad of fireflies.
I was then the onlooker of a wonderful scene, and the wind murmured inside
my ear some sweet words and the sun began to enlighten my soul.

I looked again at my lucky dog. While he was still slumbering peacefully, light
and sun was glowing from him, and I blessed him to have open my soul to
the sun.
