G I D A N     I N     T H E     F A I RY L A N D
	I just heard an old song about the mythical Ireland - and this song revealed so much a mind of great depth that I felt like writing immediately. France too is a land of mythology, and by the Celtic civilization, which still lives in the French collective unconscious, and in the mythical Armorica too, we share with Ireland and other Celtic countries overall the same mythology. Irish mythology fits so well to Gidan, more than any other dog of mine, first because of his kennel name. But so much other things make Gidan  fairy indeed ! I can't explain why the word "Gidan" conjures up the fairy world for me ; it's too a word of great depth, and it suits so well to him. By the way, this word was completely different from all the names of his siblings, I like to think that maybe the reason is that Gidan is completely different from the others ! For Gidan is a lovely "queer fish" ! Among all the dogs I get and I got, he is one of the odd personalities - the second one was a white knight called Lénidiège ... My other dogs are simply NORMAL . Gidan and Lénidiège belong to these figures who fly far above the normality ... Do you believe in mediums ? Without any doubt, Gidan is one of them. He always knows everything about everything and before anyone. He knows when I don't notice a situation, but he knows too when I have to intervene, and so when he must make me react. He's so helpful that he uses his knowledge first to help. Do you believe in fairies ? Without any doubt, a lot of fairies are some acquaintance of Gidan's ! Like fairies, Gidan often disappears and then appears again, while I don't succeed to know where he is really - he's as quick as lightning in some situations, and it often happens that I don't see him move, and when I search him somewhere, I have just to notice that he has disappeared once more ... And sometimes he appears suddenly in a place where I wouldn't have waited him ... Maybe he can go through the walls, but in fact he doesn't need to know that, for he can open nearly every door ... Of course Gidan belongs to the good fairies clan. He's very prompt to act, but thanks to his faculties to see quickly and clearly any situation, he answers in an appropriate way, while he often reveals his helpful mind. So should any wicked fairy fly around us ? Gidan immediately would defend us all. He's really a good guardian one - a guardian angel ... Gidan is a very sensitive personality, and more than clever. Every dog is clever if you develop his abilities ; but Gidan is more than clever, and I can compare with my other dogs. And he is more than quick too. Nonetheless, Gidan isn't at all an excited guy, you know excitation is incompatible with effectiveness, and Gidan is too clever to let excitation makes him depart from the right way ! He can be as peaceful as he can be fast, and I can let him play the baby-sitter with young pups without staying with them, I trust completely Gidan, and even when I see a young pup head between his jaws, I trust Gidan's self-control and I know that he will always act in an appropriate way - by the way he really loves to take care of the pups, even just born ones, and pups between a grown-up dog jaws is quite a normal game. But how did Gidan succeed to come to me, while any other sibling could have take his place ? How could I believe that it's just the luck of draw ? With no doubt, a good fairy was always watching over him, and prevented any person to choose him, or whispered in his breeder's ear that he would be the ideal dog for France ...
