began to be more relaxed when they were all around her, she stayed longer on the ground
with them. I put a more difficult zigzag in the doorway : they had to turn left immediately and
then to turn right, they still searched to come right in front of them, but when they realized
that they couldn't , they tried to search another way and found the right one quickly. At noon,
they came into the kitchen, no one went into the dining-room and only Edwisp went on he
first step of the stairs in the veranda, he didn't tried to came down into the veranda. On
18/07/09, Kaerenn was with them once again in the morning, she began to play with the
pups ; I saw her coming out of behind a plank placed against the wall, a pup was following
her, but she entered again between the wall and the plank behind the pup, as if they were
playing hide-and-seek ! Later, Kaerenn was on a chair and Eirelune tried to climb to her,
and the she-cat was playing gently with her leg on the pup. I put about the same zigzag in
the doorway, the pups began to find the right way quickly. At noon, I opened all the doors,
but they stayed in the dining-room and slept .

really difficulties in the beginning, I had to lead them with my hand so they found the right way ; the
following day, some pups found easily, some other didn't.
On 19/07/09, some pups tried and succeeded to go behind the dresser in the dining-room, then they
liked to go round it ; on 20/07/09, while they were in the kitchen, some pups tried too to go behind the
dressers, but after going between one of the dressers and the wall, they couldn't move forward
anymore, the head was out but the body was stuck ; the pups were crying a lot, some succeeded to go
out, Edwisp was really stuck and cried very loud, I took him out and the pup who was behind him too ;
Edwisp stopped crying immediately, but Bocquefeuille examined him carefully, I thought she was
searching if he was injured or not - he wasn't - and then she put her forelegs and her head around him.
the pups tried to come over the bottles (and sometimes succeeded), but then
they found the right way easily, so I increased the difficulty. The pups played with
the bottles, biting the top or the plastic, and also trying to climb on them. They
went in all the rooms of the house, and in the veranda too. On 23/07/09, at a
moment some pups made the plank fall, then it wasn't balanced properly, the
pups went on it without being disturbed by its movement.

While the pups were in the garden, I opened the door between the garden and the yard,
and they came into the yard with me, then they entered into the veranda with my other dogs
and me.
four pups who weren't sleeping in the garden and called Bocquefeuille, I put them all in a carrier box
inside my car, the pups (Edwisp, Ethollia, Esvrenne and Eyshnah) were trying to go out of the box, till I
closed the box door ; I drove off and made my car go slowly during a few minutes ; then I stopped and
opened the door of my car and the one of the carrier box : all the pups and Bocqueeuille came out
immediately, I took the pups one by one to put them on the ground ; and the pups began to discover the
barn, all around my car, sometimes under it, they seemed to like this very much ! I put the four pups in
the yard and took the four other pups (so Eddixe, Eirzanne, Eirelune and Eydrey) and did the same ; I
was surprised that neither the pups nor their mother searched to come out of the carrier box when I
opened its door after a few minutes of driving, I had to took them one by one out of the box. Then I
opened the barn door and all the pups and Bocquefeuille stayed inside it, the pups seemed really to
enjoy this new area, so the experience in my car wasn't bad ! I always put the tyre in the doorway.
each day, the pups seemed to like it ! And they always like to go in
the barn too. On 26/07/08, I began to put a collar to each pup, of
course they scratched themselves, but I did this just before giving
them their food, while they were eating, they forgot this new thing. I
did the same the following days. I still put the tyre in the doorway, or,
from the 27/07/09, either the tyre or a plank which moved up and
down when they walked on it.
allowed neither to ate nor to drink from the previous evening, and for the first time they spent the whole night without
Bocquefeuille : at the beginning they cried a little, but they began to sleep quickly. But when they came back from the vet, they
were very crying all the time, and couldn't sleep, in fact the anaesthesia was still disturbing them ; in the evening, I decided not
to let Bocquefeuille with them any more, because some pups were meant to leave home rather quickly, but they didn't
succeeded to sleep normally till their mother joined them again. The following morning, they seemed quite normal, but when I
wanted to try to put leads to their collars, they cried so much that I gave up immediately, I thought there was still some pain on
their neck (where the vet had injected the anaesthetic matter) and I decided to let them be the whole day.
the doorway. All the pups wanted to go in the barn, they always liked it very much, going under, over,
behind a lot of things (included my car), and it didn't seem at all that my car could have been
associated with a bad experience ... In front of the pallet, they hesitated, some walked on it quickly,
some tried to go under it (and some succeeded), they all came by walking on the pallet but there was
too much hesitation, and I decided to do the same on 31/07/09 and 01/08/09. On 30/07/09, after
letting them playing in the barn, I made them came back in the house to sleep, except Eirzanne, for I
had to take Eirzanne to her new owner. On 02/08/09, I put another wooden pallet in the barn doorway,
the wooden parts were smaller and the pups had to walk more carefully, some came down between
the wooden parts and walked on the ground ; then they played in the barn again.
the previous day, but after that, I didn't let them play in the barn but I put them in my car and I drove them all to the stony forest of Buthiers.
I heard shouts all the time, then the silence appeared suddenly as soon as I stopped my car and then opened the door. One by one, I
put them a collar and a lead, the first pups were going under my car, they didn't seem to feel fine ... Fango had understood that I was
going to drive away and had come into the barn, so he had been the one I took with us to be an example to the pups. Fango began to
walk ahead, and the pups followed him and me, but they showed that they didn't liked at all to be pulled ... We walked so during a few
minutes (about 100 m) inside the stony forest, then I let the pups go away, but with their leads - so I could take them easily if I needed to,
but in fact the pups came back to me when I called them ; nonetheless, the leads made me recognize them easily : red for Edwisp (both
collar and lead) but also for Eddixe, just his lead was wide and his collar red/yellow, and Edwisp had already two pricked ears ;
Esvrenne wore a beige collar with the same red lead than Edwisp, and she had too two prick ears, but also a long tail ; Ethollia had got
green collar and green lead ; Eirelune wore blue/purple collar and lead, Eydrey received a red/yellow/green collar and its lead, while
Eyshnah wore a turquoise collar with a blue lead. The pups immediately ran about everywhere, they often went far away but they came
back when I called them, some even disappeared behind a huge stone block, running right round it, they really enjoyed ! I was counting
them permanently. When they came back near me and seemed tired, I took the leads one by one (while counting them), expecting that
they wouldn't want to walk with their lead in my hand after running free, even with their lead ; but I was wrong, I was astonished to see
them walk as if they always did ! And I thought that the enchanting stony forest had easily succeeded to make them enjoy this new
experience. And what a silence while I was driving back home, they were tired ! The photos can be found in the E-litter page.
to me, the first was Eirelune ; Edwisp was sitting on the grass, looking at us but without daring climbing to us, I
called him several times and then he came, of course without difficulties ; I counted them and one was missing,
I went into the garden and found Eyshnah, but Eyshnah didn't want to try to climb to me, so I took him in my arms
and climbed on the top of the pile, I squatted and kept Eyshnah on my knees during a few minutes, then I put
him on the stones and he walked on it without any hesitation ; when I climbed down the stones, he came too
without difficulty. Later, at noon, the weather was so hot that I decided to make them meet water - as a bath ; I put
a kind of a large bowl in the garden and poured water into it ; none of the pups wanted to go into the water ; I put
their plate with dry food inside it, and all the pups went into the water to eat ! But only Eirelune came back to the
bowl and then inside it, the plate was empty but some dry food pieces were floating, Eirelune took each of them,
she stayed in the water during a long time and she really seemed to like it. In the evening, I gave their plate also
in the water, they went into it to eat but not after, except Eirelune who really liked it. On 05/08/09, I climbed up to
the top of the stone pile, all the pups came to me without any hesitation, even Edwisp and Eyshnah.

of course the pups followed me.
new owner. Then, at noon, I put a zigzag way in the barn doorway, but the (6)
pups showed difficulties to find the right way, some tried and succeeded
(especially Eyshnah) to climb over the little plank, Eirelune didn't come at all and
I took her in my hands, and so I decided to put again a zigzag in the doorway of
"their" dining-room : I did it on 08/08/09, and the pups came in without
hesitation. On 09/08/09, I put the same zigzag (with the same equipment) in the
doorway of the barn instead of the one of the dining-room : the pups came
through the zigzag without hesitation ; on 10/08/09, I put the first zigzag in the
barn doorway (the one I put on 07/08/09), and this time the pups didn't show any
hesitation ; on 11/08/09, I put another zigzag in the barn doorway, with the same
equipment than the previous day but I added another one so the zigzag was a
little more difficult : all the pups came through it without difficulty, just Eddixe
climbed right the small plank, right in front of him. On 10/08/09, I kept Esvrenne
on a lead, without any sibling, from my car to the house of her new owner,
Esvrenne walked really well, it seemed that the walks inside the stony forest
had been efficient ! Things had to be done, Esvrenne returned back home with
me, and on 12/08/09, she came for good to her new owner's house. On
13/08/09, I drove the 5 pups to the town, for a walk on lead - Ethollia with
Eyshnah first, then Eirelune with Eddixe and Edwisp : like Esvrenne, the pups
walked very well on lead.
