GE M     OF    M I N E
As good genii, they shine in my life like myriads of candles in the starlit night.
As the eternal kindliness, they lavish care on me.
With elfin grace, their eyes kindle from the embers of my worries.
With might and main, they defy fate and more.

Should pain cast a shadow over my face ? They sidle up to me.
Should luck play a nasty trick on me ? They rain blessings on me.
Should I go astray on the wrong track ? They pave the way for me.
Should I search a gem when the tide is out ? They unearth a starfish from the
golden sand.
Should I lose the preposterous game ? They just grin broadly.

For they know the gem that was a manna from heaven.
And they couldn't let me lose my marbles.
Decked out in all its finery, the gem is glowing from the pupils of their sweet
eyes.
The gem of mine is stashed inside their skittish eyes.
Assuredly, they discovered the gem of mine a stone's throw from here, among
the flowers that girdle the gilt ash. I've been told so while having a good jaw.

But what an airy-fairy idea ! I don't see any chance of that !
For I know, I know that the gem of mine is the pearl that the oyster shapes
inside its shells.
I know that the gem of mine rose from the blissful love that lives deep inside all
of them.
I know that the gem of mine is the grace that leaks from their noble souls.
I know that the gem of mine is the loveliness that shoots out from their lowly
faces.
I know that the gem of mine is the diamond that shine out from their sweet kind
eyes.
I know ...
May I always know ...
For all of mine
