Brevillenne dug a hole in the ground under the fence of her owner's garden, and then she
disappeared away. The reason was very probably her first heat, because her sister was on heat
at about the same moment. Unfortunately, she never came back home, and she had never been
reported too. So I'm afraid that Death was the main troubadour she met in her quest ... That's the
explanation of the title, this word means literally "little soul", but it can be used too to refer to a
child or other person in an affectionate way. So let me write a tale for a poor unlucky Little Soul...
Once upon a time, there was a castle somewhere under the sea in the auld lang
syne
. Of course, there was there a little princess.
Everyone could think that a princess can only be happy, because she's blessed by
nature and she's the blue-eyed girl of the family.
The little princess was really given all that would have made anyone more than
happy. However, tears were incessantly spoiling the beauty of her tiny face. Nothing
on earth seemed to be able to make her tears dry.

The little princess had been offered a pup for her last birthday, the little bitch was the
precious present of her beloved godmother. Unluckily, one day the young bitch didn't
came home again, and although the princess searched her night and day during a
very long time, she never succeed to even hear about. Everyone thought that Death
had taken her away ... Since that moment, the princess began to cry her eyes out
without respite. One day, she thought that she would call her godmother.

Her godmother promised to help her. She explained that she would send her a good
fairy to lead her to the lost bitch. And one evening, while the little princess was just
arrived in the land of Nod, a radiant fairy came to her ; she led her through scrubby
paths and then they discovered a sleeping tuft of hair. The fairy woke up the little
animal, and the princess knew immediately her beloved young bitch. Joy was
beaming so much from her face that none of her relatives would have recognized her.
The bitch was so happy too that she was really dancing in the air, seeming flying with
agility and gracefully.

Since that moment, the princess and the little bitch met every night in the land of Nod.
Since that moment, joy took the place of tears on the pretty face of the little princess
all day long.
The little girl was often longing for dusk and she was always in rather a hurry to nod
off, because she knew that she would meet again her beloved dog. The bitch was
always waiting her, dancing joyfully and gracefully for her beloved princess.
Could happiness be something else ?
