Life is just a bowl of cherries :  I gathered the cherries with my dogs all around me. I let fall down all the cherries that were more or less damaged, especially by the birds, and of course sometimes some good cherries slipped out of my hands. So the dogs were searching on the ground, among the grass. But that wasn't enough for the gourmands, especially in the first days, when the bad cherries weren't yet very numerous. One of the more greedy dog of mine, Andeo, was often jumping to try to reach the cherries of the lower branches, while the small but greedy Drezbor couldn't imitate him ; she found another way to get cherries : she imitated me. She could see that I could reach (and gather) the cherries when I climbed up a stepladder, so she did the same ! When I was gathering cherries while staying on the ground, I put the cherries into a bowl on the upper step of the stepladder, because - of course - the dogs would have eaten the cherries if I had put the bowl on the ground ! The first time I saw her on the ladder, I was coming back to the stepladder to put gathered cherries into the bowl, and I was surprised to see her there ! I wondered whether she wanted to reach some cherries on the tree or directly those I put into the bowl. I didn't have got my camera with me, I went back to my house to take it. Fortunately, Drezbor climbed up the stepladder several time and during several days. The first time I saw her there, I was astonished, but finally that was no surprising thing : such young pups are as agile as cats, and no apprehension stop them - and greediness lends wings ! Drezbor also tried to climb up the stepladder even when I was already on it, probably because she could see some cherries which had fallen down on a step. The stepladder wasn't always properly balanced, and sometimes it was more steeply than normal, but that didn't disturb her.
